This book begins by exploring the history and current situation of Greek language teaching in China within the broader context of Sino-Greek educational and cultural exchanges. It underscores the urgency and significance of cultivating students’ intercultural communication skills in the era of globalization. By exploring key insights and classic models of intercultural communication theories from Western, Greek, and Chinese academia, and applying them to the teaching practice of Greek language, this book re-examines adaptive strategies for developing students’ intercultural communicative competence. Subsequently, the book elaborates on the design of Greek courses in light of the evolving dynamics of Sino-Greek cultural exchange and mutual learning.
